Violins

Born in Seoul in 1993, Kwanghoon Lee came to violin making in 2017 after early interests in visual art and classical music. He apprenticed in Korea before entering the Istituto Stradivari in Cremona in 2022. While still a student he received an Honourable Mention at the Kaminski Violin Making Competition in Poland the Gold Prize in the Young Luthier category of the A.N.L.A.I. competition, and the Gold Medal at the Giovanni Battista Guadagnini International Violin Making Competition. He now works as an independent maker in Cremona, collaborating with Hyunjung Park and other Cremonese luthiers.
